Introduction

Business Models are changing faster than ever before. Traditional business models are replaced by new exponential game-changers. Uber, AirBnB, Zappos, Venmo, Youtube, Netflix are challenging the status quo. The drive to create exponential business models is bigger than ever, for both newcomers and existing companies.

This requires an exponential mindset when you need to work with new tools, skills and a completely different approach from single teams but also from entire organizations. With our proven method, you will learn how to design and innovate business models in a systematic way by understanding and applying exponential technologies. This helps to be(come) successful in the future.

Overview

The 10X Business Models Workshop is designed for individuals and teams that want to approach business model innovation in a more structured, practical, more focused and accelerated way. It’s a kickstart of their journey towards future success. Over two days, participants will explore exponential technologies and go through the business model innovation process themselves in a substantive and interactive program.

The workshop starts with an Intro to Exponentials by a Faculty of Singularity University, to gain insights about what these technologies represent in today’s business world and their role in defining our future. We will then focus on three main xTechs, perfect drivers of many different companies from many different sectors: AI, blockchain and ARVR. We will take you on a journey on how leading companies have applied these techs in their business models to add value for their customers.

After this, we will help you learn how to use Design Thinking to re-design your business model. We will give insights on tools like the Business Model Canvas, the Value Proposition Canvas and the Double Loop Process - an award-winning approach to business model innovation.

We will spend time analyzing and understanding your current Business Model right before discovering the importance of a Customer Centric Design. Once you are able to understand and define for whom you are creating value, it is time for two workshop sessions on creating a 10x Business Model through the lens of the Business Models Canvas. You will walk away with insights on how Xtech can help to create different values and through what business models this can be achieved.
